What do you do when you're a photographer and you need a family photo for the very last minute New Year's cards you plan to send-out? That's right...You drag your family and your tripod to the nearest park and take your own family pictures! In all fairness, I had the best assistant ever. My husband is talented visual designer who has a natural eye for composition. But what he really excels at is making our children laugh. I mean those huge belly, can't control myself laughs. Good stuff. This was by far the hardest shoot I've ever done. Trying to compose and shoot a photo that you're also in is no joke. But we did it, and I'm pretty happy with the results. One thing is for sure, the four of us had a blast.
