Photographing this family was particularly sweet for me. For one, I got to take a leisurely drive to Sonoma County (read: beautiful!) on a warm fall Thursday evening. It was also a special trip because I got to reconnect with an old friend and meet her wonderful new family. And to top it off, all four of them (Grandma included) are beautiful and were so relaxed and welcoming.
This why I love this gig. I'm invited into a family's home to make beautiful art out their beautifully typical life. What else could be better?
